Joan Stollberger is a Registered Dietitian (R.D.) holding a B.A. degree in nutrition from CUNY at Queens College, Flushing, New York, and a M.S. degree in nutritional science from Long Island University, C.W. Post College.

She has 10 years of experience in Geriatric Nutrition through long term care and ten years of experience in acute care working as a dietitian at St. John's Episcopal Hospital - now St. Catherine of Sienna - in Smithtown.

She is Board Certified in Diabetes Education since 1992. She started a part-time private practice in Smithtown providing nutrition counseling in 1984.
